The vocabulary used across the assessment, the deliverables and the engagement tiers, in one place.
A 0-100 measure of how much AI is likely to reshape an organization’s business model, not a measure of how advanced its AI adoption is. A higher score means AI bears more heavily on the business, creating both threats and opportunities. It is calculated across eight weighted dimensions using calibrated rubrics with hard boundaries.
One of the eight factors the AI Disruption Score is calculated from. Each carries a weight of 1.0 or 1.5 and belongs to one of three categories: Exposure, Opportunity or Defensibility.
The label attached to a score, from Very High down to Low. Bands exist so a number can be read as a judgment about urgency rather than compared in the abstract.
Every finding in an assessment carries one of three tags. Evidenced means verified from public sources such as financial filings, websites or business registration records. Inferred means logically derived from available evidence. Hypothesis means a reasoned assessment where direct evidence is unavailable. The tags make clear what is verified and what needs validation.
A 20-30 minute structured conversation with four AI Advisors who have already studied the scan. It is part of the AI Strategic Blueprint engagement, and what the advisors learn in it shapes the deliverables that follow.
Documents an organization provides to ground the analysis: financial reports, existing strategies, org charts and similar. Documents are processed by AI to extract structured insights; document text is purged 90 days after upload. Uploading documents produces the best results because the analysis can use real numbers rather than estimates.
Each dimension carries a weight of 1.0 or 1.5 and belongs to one of three categories. Exposure measures how much pressure AI places on the business, Opportunity what AI makes newly possible, and Defensibility what buffers the organization while it adapts. These are quick definitions; the AI Disruption Score page is the fuller treatment of how they are weighted and scored, and the methodology covers how the evidence behind each one is gathered.
What share of the workforce’s tasks could AI agents credibly perform within 3-5 years?
How easily could an AI-first startup replicate the core value proposition from scratch?
How digital is the value chain end to end? Purely digital businesses face maximum exposure.
How fast do competitive dynamics play out? Fast-moving markets give less time to adapt.
How decisive is proprietary data plus AI in this sector, whether the organization holds the data or faces the gap?
How easy is it for customers to leave? Low switching costs mean faster competitive displacement.
How much does regulation buffer the organization from fast disruption?
How much does brand and trust drive the purchasing decision?
A score on its own invites comparison in the abstract. The band is what turns it into a judgment about urgency.
Business model actively under threat from AI.
Substantial disruption requiring leadership attention now.
Pressing strategic response needed.
Clear areas requiring attention.
Some exposure worth addressing.
AI is background noise for this business model.
The Snapshot is produced by every engagement. The remaining four are produced by the AI Strategic Blueprint, on top of it.
The assessment every engagement starts from, and the first of the five deliverables: the AI Disruption Score, the eight-dimension breakdown, threats ranked by urgency, opportunities sized by impact, industry patterns, named peers, what it means and recommended next steps. Corporate buyers can run one on their own organization self-serve; it is also included in partner and Research Console scan allowances.
The deeper analytical read that builds on the Snapshot, produced as part of the AI Strategic Blueprint.
The strategic position on a page: what the organization will and will not pursue, and why.
The sequenced plan: what happens first, in what order, and who owns it.
A board-ready synthesis of the analysis, canvas and roadmap, delivered as a .pptx. It draws on the same content as the other deliverables rather than introducing new analysis.
Engagements start with the AI Disruption Snapshot, defined above. What follows is everything that builds on it or sits alongside it. Published prices for every self-serve tier are on the engagements page; this section covers what each one is, not what it costs.
A focused strategy build from the Snapshot: strategic moves across the four fronts, Offensive, Conversion, Utilization and Defensive (where to attack, transform, protect and mitigate), organized around objectives set with AI Strategy Advisor help. Delivered as a web view plus a downloadable presentation.
The flagship engagement, reached through a delivering partner. Six AI Advisors produce the four further deliverables on top of the Snapshot; the delivering partner facilitates, reviews and signs off before release, and a 90-minute walkthrough with the client is included.
Research on any organization, on screen. Console firms run scans and read the findings in the product; documents and Playbook are not part of it.
A weekly read on the AI frontier, built from model releases, adoption, regulation, patent activity and public spend. Free weekly, with Signal Pro carrying the full evidence, the trend against previous weeks and the policy read for every market.
